Birth and Concept

This company was formed in Jamaica, on October 2, 2005 - the first anniversary of my son's mysterious disappearance and presumed death. I decided to use his initials and a portion of his self ascribed pet name lil WOW to form the name of the company. Upon resigning from Cable & Wireless I was led to do something for myself. Over 20 years of solid creative design experience in commercial art:

  • Cover Designs, Brochures, Flyers, Magazines, Newsletters.  
  • Ad designs, exhibition layout.
  • Publicity materials including Newspaper advertisements, Billboards, Building Signs.
  • Web Designing and content management. 
  • Freehand Calligraphy of Citations and Award materials.

Global Directories USA/Caribbean Publishing (freelance)

4 years from June 2005 to the present. Preparing Directory Advertisements and sales collateral for the Director of Marketing.

Cable & Wireless Jamaica

9 years and 7+ months from October 2, 1995 to June 30, 2005. This included 6 months as a Public Relations Assistant as well as a Graphic Specialist/Systems Support Coordinator (at the Executive Level) with the responsibility of designing in-house publications, Providing and maintaining Web content for the department on the company's intranet and offering System Support to the computer users of the Corporate communications Department. Policing the use of the company’s brand usage and design elements: logos, fonts, colors etc

Morale Welfare and Recreation Department

U.S. Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba

1 year and 3 months from December 28, 1993 to April 1, 1995. 6 months as a Color Photo Lab Technician and 9 months as Publicity Assistant with the responsibility of designing and disseminating all publicity material for military and civilian clubs and entertainment facilities. Single handedly running the MWR Publicity department from August 1994 to April 1, 1995.

8 months between March 1993 - November 1993 with the responsibility of designing stationery, T-shirt, Books and magazines

Jamaica Telephone Company Limited- Directory Services Department

2 years and 9 months from May 1, 1990 to February 12, 1993 with the responsibility of designing advertisements for the National Yellow Pages, Pagination of the Island of Jamaica Directory's Yellow Pages, The Fax Telex Directory and other in house publications.

9 months from July 1989 to April 1990 with the responsibility of the magazine's cover design and it's layout.
